Freight activity via the Port of Tripoli fell to nearly 96 thousand tons during the month of February 2020, down from around 189 thousand tons a month earlier. Imported freight accounted for 66.06% of total freight (63,709 tons), while export activity constituted a meager 33.94% (32,727 tons). Similarly, on a cumulative basis, Tripoli Port freight activity contracted by 12.85% y-o-y to 285 thousand tons in the first two months of 2020 compared to 327 thousand tons in the same period last year. In addition, the number of vessels fell by 8.08% y-o-y to 91 by February 2020, with no cars imported via the Tripoli Port over the concerned period. In this context, port-related revenues (excluding VAT and customs) dropped by 25.85% on an annual basis to about $2.09 million during the first two months of 2020, down from $2.81 million YTD February 2019.
تراجعت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس لتجاور عتبة ال96 ألف طن خلال شهر شباط 2020، مقابِل حوالي 189 ألف طن في الشهر الذي سبقه. في التفاصيل، شَكَّلَت الشحنات الوارِدة 66.06% من مجموع حركة الشحن (63،709 طن)، في حين بلغت نسبة الحمولات المصدَّرة 33.94% (32،727 طن). كذلك على صعيدٍ تراكميٍّ، فقد إنخفضت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس بنسبة 12.85% على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى 285 ألف طن لغاية شهر شباط مقارنةً ب327 ألف طن خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2019. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تراجع عدد البواخر بنسبة 8.08% سنويّاً إلى 91 باخرة مع نهاية شهر شباط 2020، في حين لم تسجيل إستيراد أيّة سيارة عبر مرفأ طرابلس خلال الفترة المذكورة. في هذا الإطار، إنخفضت العائدات المرفئيّة (دون إحتساب الواردات الجمركيّة والواردات من الضريبة على القيمة المضافة) لمرفأ طرابلس بنسبة 25.85% على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى نحو 2.09 مليون د.أ. لغاية شهر شباط 2020 من 2.81 مليون د.أ. في الفترة الموازية من العام 2019.
