The Lebanese Central Bank issued on January 29, 2021 Intermediate Circular No. 579 which adds article 4 bis of basic decision number 13,100 pertaining to opening bank accounts. The circular stipulated that banks that receive deposits or transfer donations denominated in US dollar or any other foreign currency from international institutions must inform the Banking Control Commission (BCCL) of the amounts and exchange rates adopted if they were converted to Lebanese Pound.
أَصدَرَ مصرف لبنان التعميم الوسيط رقم 579 بتاريخ 29 كانون الثاني 2021 الذي أضاف المادّة الرابعة مكرّر من القرار الأساسي رقم 13،100 والتي تُعنى بفتح حسابات مصرفيّة. ينصّ التعميم أنّه على المصارف التي تتلقّى ودائع أو تحاويل مصدرها هبات بالدولار الأميركي أو أي عملة أجنبيّة أُخرى من قبل مؤسّسات دوليّة وجهات مانحة من أجل توزيعها على المستفيدين من هذه الهبات، إبلاغ لجنة الرقابة على المصارف بهذه المبالغ إضافةً إلى سعر الصرف المعتمد إذا تمّ تحويلها إلى الليرة اللبنانيّة.
