The Lebanese Central Bank issued on May 5, 2021 announcement number 939 addressed to banks. In details, BDL requested banks to submit no later than May 17, 2021 the respective balances of their customers’ deposits in Lebanese Pound and in foreign currencies as at December 31, 2015, October 31, 2019 and March 31, 2021 according to the template provided by BDL, breaking deposits down into different size brackets showing the number of accounts per bracket and the total value of these accounts in every bracket. The announcement noted that the accounts on March 31, 2021 must not include any accounts opened after October 31, 2019 and any fresh accounts.
أَصدَرَ مصرف لبنان بتاريخ 5 أيّار 2021 إعلام رقم 939 موجّه إلى المصارف. بالتفاصيل، طلب مصرف لبنان من المصارف اللبنانيّة تزويده قبل 17 أيّار 2021 بأرصدة ودائع الزبائن لديها بالليرة اللبنانيّة وبالعملات الأجنبيّة كما في 31 كانون الأوّل 2015 و31 تشرين الأوّل 2019 و31 آذار 2021 وفقاً لنموذج مصرف لبنان والذي يقسّم الودائع إلى عدّة شرائح ويحدّد عدد الحسابات ضمن كلّ شريحة والقيمة الإجماليّة لتلك الحسابات في كل شريحة. وأشار الإعلام إلى أنّ الحسابات المفتوحة بعد تاريخ 31 تشرين الأوّل 2019 وأيّة أموال جديدة (Fresh Accounts) لا يجب إدخالها ضمن رصيد الحسابات كما في 31 آذار 2021 التي يطلب الإعلام رقم 939 الإفصاح عنها لمصرف لبنان.
