The Lebanese Central Bank issued on May 28, 2021 intermediate circular number 584 addressed to banks, financial institutions and auditors concerning IFRS 9 implementation. In details, the Central Bank required banks and financial institutions to extend the delay for not lowering the classification of customers who have been adversely affected by the impact of the COVID-19 virus until June 30, 2021, in amendment of article 7 bis of basic decision number 12713. In parallel, the Central Bank requested banks and financial institutions to perform an assessment of the aforementioned clients before June 30, and to reflect the respective provisions under the new classifications on the 2021 profit and loss statement following June 30, 2021.
أصدر مصرف لبنان بتاريخ 28 أيّار 2021 التعميم الوسيط رقم 584 الموجّه للمصارف والمؤسّسات الماليّة ومفوضّي المراقبة والمتعلّق بتطبيق المعيار الدولي للتقارير الماليّة رقم 9. بالتفاصيل، طلب المصرف المركزي من المصارف والمؤسّسات الماليّة تمديد مهلة عدم تخفيض تصنيف العملاء الذين تأثروا بوباء كورونا حتى 30 حزيران 2021 معدّلاً بذلك المادّة السابعة مكرّر من القرار الأساسي رقم 12713. بالتوازي، طلب مصرف لبنان من المصارف والمؤسّسات الماليّة إجراء تقييم للعملاء المذكورين آنفاً قبل نهاية شهر حزيران الحالي وتسجيل مؤونات بحسب التصنيف الجديد لهؤلاء العملاء على بيان الربح والخسارة وذلك بعد 30 حزيران 2021.
