The January 20, 2022 Treasury bill auction raised LBP 134.518 billion ($89.233 million), compared to LBP 146.334 billion ($97.071 million) during the auction of the previous week.

The majority of subscriptions was concentrated in the five-year (49.27%) to maturity T-bonds, followed by the three-month (32.15%), and one-year (18.58%) tenure Treasury securities.

Consequently, the weighted average yield on Lebanese Pound Treasury bills stood at 4.92% in the auction of January 20. The yields on the three-month, one-year, and five-year to maturity Treasury securities remained flat at 3.50%, 4.50%, and 6.00% respectively.
