Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) grew stronger this week with the number of shares changing hands rising to 357,292 shares from 227,582 shares in the week before and value traded increasing to $12.53 million compared to $9.94 million a week earlier. Trades were mainly concentrated in real estate stocks, which accounted for 54.45% of weekly traded volume.
The average daily traded volume rose to 71,458 shares this week, from 45,516 shares in the week before, with the average daily traded value also increasing to $2.51 million, from around $1.99 million a week earlier.
Five losing and two gaining stocks were screened this week, dragging the BSE’s market capitalization down by 1.63% week-on-week to around $14.92 billion and the Credit Libanais Aggregate Stock Index (“CLASI”) by 1.74% to 1,594.67.
In the real estate sector, trades mainly consisted of Solidere “A” and “B” shares (53.81% of weekly traded volume), with the price of Solidere “A” dropping by 2.95% week-on-week to $62.50 and that of Solidere “B” decreasing by 1.88% to $62.60. On the other hand, the prices of Holcim Liban shares and Ciments Blancs Nominal shares rose by 10.00% and 15.81% w-o-w to $27.50 and $7.25 respectively. Consequently, the Credit Libanais Construction Sector Stock Index (“CLCI”) ended the week 1.89% lower on a weekly basis at 3,127.65.
In the banking sector, BLOM Bank GDRs amassed the highest concentration of trades (20.91% of total BSE traded volume) with a thin turnover ratio of 0.10%. The Credit Libanais Financial Sector Stock Index (“CLFI”) in its turn closed its week down by 1.22% to a new year-low of 569.80. This comes on the back of the 2.67% contraction in the price of Byblos Bank listed shares to $0.73, coupled with the 2.35% decrease in the price of Bank Audi listed shares to $1.66 and the 1.27% drop in the price of Bank Audi GDRs to $1.55.
The market-cap weighted average price to book value (P/BV) multiple of listed stocks ended its week lower at 4.644 based on the closing prices of Friday’s session compared to 4.763 in the previous week.
تحسّنت حركة التداول على بورصة بيروت هذا الأسبوع مع إرتفاع عدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة إلى 357،292 سهم، مقابل 227،582 سهم في الأسبوع الفائت وزيادة القيمة التداوليّة للأسهم إلى 12.53 مليون د.أ.، مقارنةً ب9.94 مليون د.أ. في الأسبوع المنصرم. وقد سَيطَرَت أسهُم القطاع العقاري على 54.45% من مجموع عدد الأسهم المتداولة.
إرتفع المتوسِّط اليومي لعدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة إلى 71،458 سهم في هذا الأسبوع، من 45،516 سهم في الأسبوع الذي سبقه كما وزاد متوسّط القيمة التداوليّة اليوميّة للأسهم إلى 2.51 مليون د.أ.، مقارنةً بحوالي 1.99 مليون د.أ. في الأسبوع الذي سبقه.
في سياقٍ متّصل، إنخفضت الرسملة السوقيّة (Market Capitalization) لبورصة بيروت بنسبة 1.63% أسبوعيّاً إلى حوالي 14.92 مليار د.أ.، وذلك في ظلّ تراجع في أسعار خمسة أسهم وإرتفاع سعر سهمين أخرين. وقد أنهى مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني للبورصة (“CLASI”) أسبوعه على إنخفاض بنسبة 1.74% عن إقفال الأسبوع السابق ليصل إلى 1،594.67.
في القطاع العقاري، تركّزت غالبيّة عمليّات التداول بأسهُم سوليدير "أ" و"ب" (53.81% من مجموع عدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة هذا الأسبوع) حيث إنخفض سعر سهم سوليدير "أ" بنسبة 2.95% على أساس أسبوعي إلى 62.50 د.أ. وتراجع سعر سهم سوليدير "ب" بنسبة 1.88% إلى 62.60 د.أ. وقد إرتفعت أسعار أسهم هولسيم لبنان وشركة الإسمنت الأبيض بنسبة 10.00% و15.81% على أساسٍ أسبوعي إلى 27.50 د.أ. و7.25 د.أ. بالتتالي. في هذا الإطار، أنهى مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني لأداء القطاع العقاري في البورصة (“CLCI”) أسبوعه على تراجع بنسبة 1.89% إلى 3،127.65.
أمّا في القطاع المصرفي، فقد إستحوذت شهادات الإيداع التابعة لبنك لبنان والمهجر على الحصّة الأكبر (20.91%) من مجموع عدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة خلال الأسبوع. من جهته، إنخفض مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني لأداء القطاع المالي في البورصة (“CLFI”) بنسبة 1.22% في الأسبوع المنتهي في 17 حزيران 2022 إلى 569.80، وهو أدنى مستوى له في هذا العام. أتى هذا التراجع في ظلّ إنخفاض سعر الأسهم العاديّة التابعة لبنك بيبلوس بنسبة 2.67% إلى 0.73 د.أ.، ترافقاً مع إنخفاض سعر الأسهم العاديّة التابعة لبنك عودة بنسبة 2.35% إلى 1.66 د.أ. وتدنّي سعر شهادات الإيداع التابعة لبنك عودة بنسبة 1.27% إلى 1.55 د.أ.
من جهّته، أنهى المتوسّط المثقَّل للسعر على القيمة الدفتريّة (P/BV) للأسهُم المدرَجة على بورصة بيروت أسبوعه على تراجع ليصل إلى 4.644 بحسب أسعار إقفال نهار الجمعة.
