According to figures released by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, the number of tourists arriving to Lebanon fell to 175,418 during the month of September 2023, down from 210,458 arrivals in August and 267,702 in July. On a cumulative basis, Lebanon’s tourism season was more vibrant and promising during the first nine months of 2023 when compared to the same period in 2022. More specifically, the number of tourists arriving to the country increased by 25.32% y-o-y to 1,404,768 YTD September 2023, compared to 1,120,927 tourists during the same period in 2022. European visitors topped the list of tourists arriving to Lebanon, accounting alone for 41.40% (581,511 visitors) of total tourist arrivals, followed by Arab (353,518 arrivals <25.17%>), American (295,116 arrivals <21.01%>), and Asian (65,233 arrivals <4.64%>) visitors.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات وزارة السياحة اللبنانيّة، إنخفض عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى لبنان إلى 175،418 سائح خلال شهر أيلول 2023، مقارنةً مع 210،458 سائح في شهر آب و267،702 سائح في شهر تمّوز. أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكميّ، بدى الموسم السياحي في لبنان أكثر حيويّة وديناميكيّة خلال الأشهر التسعة الأولى من العام مقارنةً بالفترة نفسها من العام السابق. بالتفاصيل، زاد عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى البلاد بنسبة 25.32% سنويّاً إلى 1،404،768 سائح حتّى شهر أيلول، مقابِل 1،120،927 سائح في الفترة نفسها من العام 2022. وقد تَصدَّر السيّاح الأوروبيّون لائحة القادمين إلى لبنان، مشكِّلين ما نسبته 41.40% (581،511 سائح) من مجموع الوافدين خلال الفترة المذكورة، تلاهم الوافدون العرب (353،518 سائح <25.17%>)، والزائرون من القارّة الأميركيّة (295،116 سائح <21.01%<)، والسيّاح الآسيويّون (65،233 سائح <4.64%<).
