According to an announcement by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) on September 3, 2024, the NSSF will gradually resume its contribution to match their pre-crisis levels. In details, Mr. Karaki, the NSSF’s General Manager, reported that several reform adjustments have been implemented. More specifically, and on the health front, the NSSF will cover 90% of 85% of basic surgeries and 50% of all other surgeries. Concerning chronic and intractable medicines, the NSSF will return to covering some 80% of 3,315 medication. As for the family compensation division, the NSSF noted that it eliminated all gender differentiation between men and women, permitting a married woman to provide NSSF coverage to her spouse and children. Finally, and with regards to end of service indemnity, the covered person, even if living abroad, can opt to receive perpetual monthly pension benefits and medicine coverage for life as soon as the proper decrees for a retirement and social protection law are enacted.
أصدر الصندوق الوطني للضمان الإجتماعي بتاريخ 3 أيلول 2024 بيان أعلن من خلاله المدير العامّ السيّد محمّد كركي عن عودة تدريجيّة لتقديمات الضمان إلى ما كانت عليه قبل الأزمة. بالتفاصيل، كشف السيّد كركي عن سلسلة إجراءات تعديليّة إصلاحيّة طالت فروع الضمان الثلاثة. بالتفاصيل، وفي ما يخصّ الضمان الصحّي، سوف يعود الضمان إلى تغطية 90% من 85% من العمليّات الجراحيّة الأساسيّة و50% من باقي العمليّات. أمّا لجهة الأدوية المزمنة والمستعصية، سوف يعود الضمان إلى تغطية 80% من 3،315 دواء. بالنسبة لفرع التعويضات العائليّة، ألغيت كافّة أشكال التمييز بين الرجل والمرأة في قانون الضمان حيث أصبح بإمكان المرأة ضمان زوجها وأطفالها وتقاضي تعويضات عائليّة عنهم كما يحقّ للزوج. أخيراً، وفي ما يخصّ تعويضات نهاية الخدمة، أصبح بإمكان المضمون حتّى ولو في الإغتراب بحسب البيان الصادر عن الصندوق الوطني للضمان الإجتماعي أن يتقاضى معاش تقاعدي مدى الحياة ويكون مضمون صحيّاً لمدى الحياة وذلك فور صدور المراسيم التطبيقيّة لقانون التقاعد والحماية الإجتماعيّة.
