According to the statistics published by the Automobile Importers Association (AIA), the number of newly registered cars reached 1,312 cars in December 2025, compared to 1,150 cars in November and 1,470 cars in October, only to name a few. The monthly evolution in the number of new car registrations depicts a rollercoaster trend as illustrated in the chart below:
On a cumulative basis, new car registrations rallied by 62.64% in the full year 2025 to reach 13,379 cars up from 8,226 cars in 2024 buoyed by an improvement in the political and security environment coupled with the implementation of some reforms at the Traffic and Management Authority (TMO) level. These figures, however, are still dwarfed by the ~21.99K level registered during the year 2019.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات جمعيّة مستوردي السيّارات، زاد عدد السيّارات الجديدة المسجّلة في لبنان إلى 1،312 سيّارة في شهر كانون الأول الأوّل من العام 2025 مقارنةً مع 1،150 سيّارة في شهر تشرين الثاني و1،470 سيّارة في شهر تشرين الأول للذكر لا الحصر. يبيّن التطوّر الشهري في حركة تسجيل السيّارات تقلّبات كبيرة كما هو مبيّن في البيان التالي:
كذلك على صعيد تراكمي، فقد زاد عدد السيّارات الجديدة المسجّلة بنسبة 62.64% خلال كامل العام 2025 إلى 13،379 سيّارة من 8،226 سيّارة في العام 2024 نتيجة التحسّن في المشهدين السياسي والأمني كما وتطبيق بعض الإصلاحات في مصلحة تسجيل السيّارات. إلّا إنّ هذه الأرقام تبقى خجولة مقارنةً بمستوى ال21،991 سيّارة جديدة المسجّلة خلال العام 2019.
