The European Union (EU), with the support of UNICEF, has delivered 45 metric tons of emergency supplies to Lebanon to support families affected by the conflict according to a press release issued on March 10, 2026. The supplies were presented to the Ministry of Social Affairs to help meet urgent humanitarian needs and included first aid kits, blankets, winter clothing, plastic mats, water tanks, and other emergency supplies. Said items will be distributed among shelters and response centers to help families that fled their homes. The press release noted that this shipment is part of the EU’s continued humanitarian support to Lebanon that includes aid delivered through the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge and other emergency response mechanisms to assist individuals affected by the conflict.
أصدر الإتّحاد الأوروبّي من خلال دعم من اليونيسيف بيان صحفي بتاريخ 10 آذار 2026 أعلن من خلاله أنّه سلّم 45 طناً متريّاً من المساعدات الطارئة لدعم العائلات المتضرّرة من النزاع في لبنان. وقد تمّ تسليم هذه المساعدات لوزارة الشؤون الإجتماعيّة لتلبية الإحتياجات الإنسانيّة العاجلة للأسر المتضرّرة. تشمل المساعدات إسعافات أوليّة وبطانيّات وملابس شتويّة وحصائر بلاستيكيّة (Plastic Mats) وخزانات مياه وغيرها من المستلزمات الطارئة. وقد أشار البيان الصحفي أنّ هذه المستلزمات ستوزّع عبر مراكز الإيواء ومختلف مراكز الإستجابة لدعم العائلات التي إضطرّت إلى إخلاء منازلها. وذكر البيان الصحفي أنّ هذه الشحنة تأتي ضمن الدعم المستمرّ الذي يقدّمه الإتّحاد الأوروبي للبنان والذي يشمل المساعدات المقدّمة عبر الجسر الجويّ الإنساني (Humanitarian Air Bridge) وآليّات الإستجابة الطارئة لدعم الأفراد المتضرّرة من النزاع.
