According to figures released by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, the number of tourists arriving to Lebanon dropped to 235,447 during the month of August 2019, down from 282,232 arrivals in July of the same year in comparison with 223,353 in August of the previous year. On a cumulative basis, the number of tourists arriving to the country increased by 7.64% y-o-y to 1,441,499 during the first eight months of the year 2019, compared to 1,339,219 tourists during the same period in 2018. European visitors topped the list of tourists arriving to Lebanon, accounting alone for 36.34% (523,894 visitors) of total tourist arrivals, followed by Arab (444,387 arrivals <30.83%>), American (276,752 arrivals <19.20%>), and Asian (95,048 arrivals <6.59%>) visitors.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات وزارة السياحة اللبنانيّة، إنخفض عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى لبنان خلال شهر آب من العام 2019 إلى 235،447 سائح، مقارنةً مع 282،232 سائح في الشهر الذي سبقه بالمقارنة مع 223،353 سائح في آب 2018. أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكميّ، فقد زاد عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى البلاد بنسبة 7.64% خلال الأشهر الثماني الأولى من العام 2019 إلى 1،441،499 سائح، مقابِل 1،339،219 سائح في الفترة نفسها من العام المنصرم. وقد تَصدَّر السيّاح الأوروبيون لائحة القادمين إلى لبنان، مشكِّلين ما نسبته 36.34% (523،894 سائح) من مجموع الوافدين خلال الفترة المذكورة، تلاهم الوافدون العرب (444،387 سائح <30.83%>)، والزائرون من القارّة الأميركيّة (276،752 سائح <19.20%<)، والسيّاح الآسيويّون (95،048 سائح <6.590%<).
