Freight activity via the Port of Tripoli fell to circa 198 thousand tons in the month of February 2022, down from around 265 thousand tons a month earlier. Imported freight accounted for 78.30% of total freight (155.433 thousand tons), while export activity constituted a meager 21.70% (43.065 thousand tons). On a cumulative basis, however, Tripoli Port freight activity widened by 12.56% y-o-y to 464 thousand tons in the first two months of 2022 compared to 412 thousand tons in the same period last year. In addition, the number of vessels increased by 31.78% y-o-y to 141 by February, with the number of imported cars rising by 46.60% to 582. In this context, port-related revenues (excluding VAT and customs) soared by more than five-folds on an annual basis to about $31.06 million during the first two months of 2022, from $5.81 million YTD February 2021.

إنخفضت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس لتجاورعتبة ال198 ألف طن خلال شهر شباط 2022، مقابل حوالي 265 ألف طن في الشهر الذي سبقه. في التفاصيل، شَكَّلَت الشحنات الوارِدة 78.30% من مجموع حركة الشحن (155.433 ألف طن)، في حين بلغت نسبة الحمولات المصدَّرة 21.70% (43.065 ألف طن). أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكميٍّ، فقد زادت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس بنسبة 12.56% على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى 464 ألف طن لغاية شهر شباط مقارنةً ب412 ألف طن خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2021. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، إرتفع عدد البواخر بنسبة 31.78% سنويّاً إلى 141 باخرة، كما وزاد عدد السيّارات المستوردة بنسبة 46.60% إلى 582 سيّارة. في هذا الإطار، إرتفعت العائدات المرفئيّة (دون إحتساب الواردات الجمركيّة والواردات من الضريبة على القيمة المضافة) لمرفأ طرابلس بأكثر من الخمسة أضعاف على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى نحو 31.06 مليون د.أ. لغاية شهر شباط 2022، من 5.81 مليون د.أ. في الفترة الموازية من العام 2021.
