Banque Du Liban’s coincident indicator widened by 5.50% during the month of March 2022 to 124.6, up from 118.1 a month earlier. On an annual basis, however, the coincident indicator dropped by 11.69% from 141.1 in March 2021, portraying a sizeable deterioration in Lebanon’s overall economic activity. It is worth noting that the coincident indicator is a gauge used to measure Lebanon’s macroeconomic activity and comprises the import of petroleum derivatives, electricity production, check clearing activity, cement deliveries, foreign passengers, foreign trade, and the M3 monetary aggregate.
إرتفع مؤشِّر الحركة الإقتصاديّة (Coincident Indicator) في لبنان بنسبة 5.50% خلال الشهر الثالث من العام 2022 إلى 124.6، من 118.1 في الشهر الذي سبقه. أمّا على صعيدٍ سنويّ، فقد إنكمش مؤشِّر الحركة الإقتصاديّة بنسبة 11.69% من 141.1 في آذار 2021، ما يعكس تراجُع ملحوظ في النشاط الإقتصادي في البلاد. يجدر الذكر أنّ مؤشّر الحركة الإقتصاديّة الصادر عن مصرف لبنان يتضمّن سلّةً من المؤشّرات، ألا وهي إستيراد المشتقّات النفطيّة وإنتاج الكهرباء وحركة مقاصّة الشيكات وتسليمات الإسمنت وحركة المسافرين الأجانب وحركة التجارة الخارجيّة والكتلة النقديّة "M3"، لقياس النشاط الماكروإقتصادي في البلاد.
