Freight activity via the Port of Tripoli rose to 286 thousand tons in the month of April 2023, up from around 256 thousand tons a month earlier. Imported freight accounted for 40.24% of total freight (115.266 thousand tons), while export activity constituted 59.76% (171.192 thousand tons). On a cumulative basis, Tripoli Port freight activity widened by 15.55% y-o-y to 1,120 thousand tons in the first four months of 2023 compared to 969 thousand tons in the same period last year. On the other hand, the number of vessels decreased by 20.20% on a yearly basis to 241 by April, with the number of imported cars dropping by 37.03% to 983. On the other hand, port-related revenues (excluding VAT and customs) soared by more than five-fold y-o-y to LBP 189,344 billion during the first four months of the current year, from LBP 35,459 billion in the same period a year earlier. Said increase in revenues may be attributed to a hike in the applicable exchange rate on customs duties to LBP 60,000 per USD instead of LBP 1,507.5 per USD previously.
إرتفعت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس لتجاورعتبة ال286 ألف طن خلال شهر نيسان 2023، مقابل حوالي 256 ألف طن في الشهر الذي سبقه. في التفاصيل، شَكَّلَت الشحنات الوارِدة 40.24% من مجموع حركة الشحن (115.266 ألف طن)، في حين بلغت نسبة الحمولات المصدَّرة 59.76% (171.192 ألف طن). أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكميٍّ، فقد زادت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ طرابلس بنسبة 15.55% على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى 1،120 ألف طن خلال الأشهر الأربعة الأولى من العام 2023 مقارنةً ب969 ألف طن خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2022. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تراجع عدد البواخر بنسبة 20.20% على أساس سنويّ إلى 241 باخرة، كما وإنخفض عدد السيّارات المستوردة بنسبة 37.03% إلى 983 سيّارة. إلاّ أنّ العائدات المرفئيّة (دون إحتساب الواردات الجمركيّة والواردات من الضريبة على القيمة المضافة) لمرفأ طرابلس قد إرتفعت بحوالي الخمسة أضعاف على صعيدٍ سنويٍّ إلى 189،344 مليار ل.ل. خلال الأشهر الأربعة الأولى من العام الحالي، من 35،459 مليار ل.ل. في الفترة نفسها من العام 2022. يمكن تعليل الزيادة في العائدات بإعتماد تعرفة ال60،000 ل.ل. للدولار الأميركي الواحد على الرسوم الجمركيّة عوضاً عن سعر الصرف القديم والبالغ 1،507.5 ل.ل. للدولار الواحد.
