The Republic of Korea has decided to provide $4.4 million in financial assistance to Lebanon to help vulnerable Lebanese and refugees. The financial assistance will be used for medical & food needs, renewable energy, and solid waste management, among others. In addition, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Lebanon noted that the assistance comes at a time when vulnerable individuals are deeply affected by the crisis ravaging the country and are no longer able to cover their basic needs.
قرّرت جمهوريّة كوريا منح لبنان مساعدات ماليّة بقيمة 4.4 مليون دولار أميركي مخصّصة للأفراد الأكثر تهمّشاً من اللبنانيّين واللاجئين. سوف يتمّ تخصيص الأموال الممنوحة للإحتياجات الطبيّة والصحيّة وللطاقة المتجدّدة ولإدارة النفايات الصلبة وغيرها. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فقد أشار سفير جمهوريّة كوريا في لبنان أنّ المساعدات تأتي في وقت يعاني فيه الأفراد الأكثر ضعفاً من تداعيات الأزمة الماليّة والإقتصاديّة في البلاد ما يعيق من قدراتهم على تلبية إحتياجاتهم الأساسيّة.
