The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) issued on June 25, 2024 circular 511-2024 in which it altered the pricing margin for listed stocks (previously set at 15% for Solidere shares and 10% for all remaining stocks) in an endeavor to stimulate liquidity on the bourse. Furthermore, the BSE tied the pricing margin to the number of inactive trading days in such a manner that the longer the period of inactivity of the stock, the wider the pricing margin becomes as highlighted by the following table:

The circular also set a minimum order value to benefit from the aforementioned margins as depicted by the below table:

Finally, the provisions of the circular will become effective starting July 1, 2024.
