The recent week witnessed a spike in regional and international aid to Lebanon following the high escalation of the conflict. In details, the President of the United Arab Emirates has ordered the delivery of a $100 million relief package to Lebanon, with the secretary general of the Emirates Red Crescent adding that the organization is ready to deliver food supplies and other essentials at a short notice.
In addition, the European Commission has allocated an additional €10 million in humanitarian aid to Lebanon geared to the fields of food assistance, shelter, healthcare and protection. Similarly, Canada has allocated $10 million in aid to Lebanon. Finally, Saudi Arabia issued directives to furnish Lebanon with immediate medical and relief aid, while France has already delivered 12 tons in medical aid to war-torn, Turkey allocated 1,300 tons of humanitarian aid with each of Russia and Jordan delivering 33 tons and 3 tons of humanitarian aid on a respective basis.
شهد الأسبوع الأخير موجة مساعدات إقليميّة ودوليّة للبنان بعد التصعيد الكبير للصراع. وفي التفاصيل، أمر رئيس دولة الإمارات العربيّة المتّحدة بتسليم حزمة إغاثة بقيمة 100 مليون د.أ. إلى لبنان، فيما أضاف الأمين العام للهلال الأحمر الإماراتي بأنّ المنظّمة مستعدّة لتوصيل الإمدادات الغذائيّة وغيرها من الضروريّات في وقت قصير.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، خصّصت المفوضيّة الأوروبيّة مبلغاً إضافياً قدره 10 ملايين يورو كمساعدات إنسانيّة للبنان موجهة إلى مجالات التقديمات الغذائيّة والمأوى والرعاية الصحيّة والحماية كما وقامت كندا بتخصيص مبلغ 10 ملايين د.أ. أخيراً، أصدرت المملكة العربية السعودية توجيهات لتزويد لبنان بالمساعدات الطبيّة والإغاثيّة الفورية فيما قامت فرنسا بتسليم 12 طن من المساعدات الطبيّة إلى لبنان كما وقامت تركيّا بتخصيص 1،300 طن من المساعدات الإنسانيّة كما وقامت كلّ روسيّا والأردن بتسليم 33 طن و3 أطنان من المساعدات الإنسانيّة بالتتالي.
