The number of arriving passengers via the Beirut International Airport stood at 431,118 in January 2025, up by 13.48% month-on-month and down by 4.33% year-on-year. More specifically, the number of arriving travelers dropped by 6.38% m-o-m while growing by 9.02% y-o-y to 219,685 with the number of departing travelers increasing by 45.55% m-o-m while decreasing by 15.09% y-o-y to 211,369 and the number of transit travelers rising by 28.00% m-o-m while receding by 69.95% y-o-y to 64. Concurrently, the number of flights saw a sharp monthly increase of 9.90% and an annual drop of 11.17% during the first month of 2025 to 3,419. It is worth highlighting in this context that the share of Middle East Airlines (MEA) rose from 36.58% of the total number of flights in January 2024 to 56.83% in January 2025. إرتفع عدد الوافدين إلى لبنان عبر مطار بيروت الدولي بنسبة 13.48% على صعيد شهري في الشهر الأوّل من العام 2025 فيما إنكمش بنسبة 4.33% على صعيد سنوي إلى 431،118 راكب. في التفاصيل، تراجع عدد الوافدين إلى لبنان بنسبة 6.38% شهريّاً فيما زاد بنسبة 9.02% على أساسٍ سنويٍّ إلى 219،685 مسافر. من جهّة أخرى زاد عدد المغادرين بنسبة 45.55% على صعيد شهري مع تسجيله تراجع سنويّ نسبته 15.09% إلى 211،369 مسافر. كذلك، زاد عدد العابرين عير مطار بيروت (ترانزيت) بنسبة 28.00% على صعيد شهري في حين إنخفض بنسبة 69.95% على أساس سنوي إلى 64 مسافر. وقد سجّل عدد الرحلات الجويّة زيادة شهريّة بلغت نسبتها 9.90% في كانون الثاني الحالي في حين تراجع هذا العدد بنسبة 11.17% على صعيد سنوي إلى 3،419. يجدر الذكر أنّ حصّة طيران الشرق الأوسط من إجمالي عدد الرحلات قد زادت من 36.58% في شهر كانون الثاني 2024 إلى 56.83% في شهر كانون الثاني 2025 كما هو مبيّن أدناه:
