The number of passengers via the Beirut International Airport stood at 403,084 in March 2025, down by 4.12% month-on-month and by 1.32% y-o-y in the first quarter of 2025 to 1,254,673 passengers. More specifically, the number of arriving travelers increased by 4.78% m-o-m and by 9.48% on an annual basis YTD March to 678,263, while the number of departing travelers decreased by 14.26% m-o-m and by 11.50% annually in the first quarter of 2025 to 576,277 and the number of transit travelers soared by 76.00% m-o-m yet fell by 82.22% over the same quarter of 2024 to 133 YTD March 2025. Concurrently, the number of flights saw a monthly increase of 15.71% and an annual drop of 4.42% during the first quarter of 2025 to 10,406. It is worth highlighting in this context that the share of Middle East Airlines (MEA) rose from 37.94% of the total number of flights in Q1-2024 to just below 53% in Q1-2025. إنخفض عدد المسافرين عبر مطار بيروت الدولي بنسبة 4.12% في آذار 2025 وبنسبة سنويّة بلغت 1.32% في الفصل الأوّل من العام الحالي إلى 1،254،673 راكب. في التفاصيل، إرتفع عدد الوافدين إلى لبنان بنسبة 4.78% على أساس شهريّ و9.48% على أساسٍ سنويٍّ إلى 678،263 مسافر حتّى شهر آذار الحالي. من جهّة أخرى، تراجع عدد المغادرين بنسبة 14.26% على صعيد شهريّ وبنسبة 11.50% سنويّاً إلى 576،277 مسافر في نهاية الفصل الأوّل من العام 2025. من جهةٍ أخرى، إرتفع عدد العابرين عير مطار بيروت (ترانزيت) بنسبة 76.00% على صعيد شهريّ فيما تراجع هذا العدد بنسبة 82.22% على أساس سنويّ إلى 133مسافر حتّى شهر آذار 2025. وقد سجّل عدد الرحلات الجويّة تحسّن شهريّ بلغت نسبته 15.71% في آذار فيما سجّل إنخفاض سنويّ نسبته 4.42% في الفصل الأوّل إلى 10،406. يجدر الذكر أنّ حصّة طيران الشرق الأوسط من إجمالي عدد الرحلات قد زادت من 37.94% في الفصل الأوّل من العام 2024 إلى 52.99% في الفترة نفسها من العام 2025 كما هو مبيّن أدناه:
