The Beirut Municipality recently launched two new projects in the Qasqas and Horsh Beirut regions funded by the German government and implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). Said projects complement a list of developed or under development projects in the Beirut municipality region funded by the German government including lighting some streets via solar energy, rehabilitating the Adlieh Tunnel, installing solar energy for the Beirut Guard Command building, rehabilitating the Sioufi & Hassan Khaled Parks and the Jisr al-Wati & Qasqas playgrounds, only to name a few.
أطلقت بلدية بيروت مؤخرًا مشروعين جديدين في منطقتي قصقص وحرش بيروت، بتمويل من الحكومة الألمانية وتنفيذ مكتب الأمم المتحدة لخدمات المشاريع (UNOPS). ويكمّل هذان المشروعان قائمة المشاريع المنفّذة أو قيد التطوير في منطقة بلدية بيروت بتمويل من الحكومة الألمانية والتي تشمل إنارة بعض الشوارع بالطاقة الشمسيّة، وإعادة تأهيل نفق العدلية، وتركيب أنظمة الطاقة الشمسيّة لمبنى قيادة حرس بيروت، وإعادة تأهيل حديقتي السيوفي وحسن خالد، وملاعب جسر الواطي وقصقص، على سبيل المثال لا الحصر.
