Imports of oil derivatives, a proxy of economic activity and one of the constituents of the coincident indicator, contracted by 13.45% in December 2024 to 337,065 metric tons, compared to 389,438 metric tons in November. On a cumulative basis, the imports of oil derivatives shed 1.52% in 2024 to reach 5.08 million tons compared to 5.16 million tons in 2023. The five-year trend, however, shows a steeper downward trajectory as shown by the negative compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.78% over the 2019 – 2024 period.
تراجع إستيراد المشتقّات النفطيّة، وهو مؤشر للنشاط الإقتصادي وأحد مكوّنات مؤشر الحركة الإقتصاديّة (Coincident Indicator)، بنسبة 13.45% في شهر كانون الأوّل من العام 2024 إلى 337،065 طن متري، مقارنةً ب389،438 طن متري في شهر تشرين الثاني. على أساس تراكمي، إنكمشت واردات المشتقّات النفطيّة بنسبة 1.52% خلال العام 2024 إلى 5.08 مليون طن متري مقارنةً مع 5.16 مليون طن متري في العام 2023. ويظهر البيان التالي مسار إنحداري ممتدّ على فترة خمس سنوات بحيث بلغت نسبة النموّ السنوي المركَّب (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) مستوى سلبي عند 8.78% خلال الفترة الممتدّة بين عاميّ 2019 و2024.
