Cement deliveries, the coincident indicator of construction activity, rose by 22.14% during the month of March 2025 to 194,665 tons, up from 159,383 tons a month earlier. Similarly, on an annual basis, cement deliveries increased by 57.14% to 612,693 tons in the first quarter of 2025, in comparison with 389,913 tons in the same quarter in 2024.
Cement deliveries registered a negative compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.46% over the March 2018 – March 2025 period, mirroring the lackluster activity of Lebanon’s construction sector amidst the pale economic situation.
سَجَّلَت تسليمات الإسمنت، والتي تشكِّل مؤشِّراً رئيسيّاً للنشاط العقاري، إرتفاعاً بنسبة 22.14% خلال شهر آذار من العام 2025 إلى 194،665 طن، مقابِل 159،383 طن في الشهر الذي سبقه. كذلك على صعيدٍ تراكمي، زادت تسليمات الإسمنت بنسبة 57.14% سنويّاً لتصل إلى 612،693 طن في الفصل الأوّل من العام 2025 مقارنةً ب389،913 طن خلال الفصل نفسه من العام 2024.
يُظهِر البيان التالي أنّ نسبة النموّ السنوي المركَّب (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) لتسليمات الإسمنت كانت سلبيّةً عند 7.46% خلال الفترة الممتدّة بين شهريّ آذار 2018 وآذار 2025، ما يَعكس ضعفاً في ديناميكيّة قطاع البناء في ظلّ الركود الإقتصادي الذي تشهده البلاد.
