Customs Receipts soared by 215.27% during the month of March 2025 to LBP 10.60 trillion, up from LBP 3.36 trillion a month earlier. Similarly, on an annual basis, customs receipts increased by 75.44% in the first quarter of 2025 to LBP 17.57 trillion in comparison with LBP 10.01 trillion in the same quarter in 2024. This sharp increase may be explained by the multiple adjustments of the LBP/USD exchange rate used for customs calculation where the applicable exchange rate was first raised in December 2022 from LBP 1,507.5 per USD to LBP 15,000 per USD before increasing it to LBP 45,000 per USD in March 2023 and to LBP 60,000 per USD in April. The exchange rate was later benchmarked to the Sayrafa rate starting May 2023 which stood back then at LBP 86,300 per USD before reaching LBP 89,500 per USD thereafter starting December 18, 2023.
سَجَّلَت الإيرادات الجمركيّة إرتفاعاً بنسبة 215.27% خلال شهر آذار من العام 2025 إلى 10.60 ترليون ل.ل.، مقابِل 3.36 ترليون ل.ل. في الشهر الذي سبقه. كذلك زادت الإيرادات الجمركيّة بنسبة سنويّة بلغت 75.44% في الفصل الأوّل من العام 2025 إلى 17.57 ترليون ل.ل. مقارنةً ب10.01 ترليون ل.ل. في الفصل نفسه من العام 2024. يمكن تعليل الإرتفاع هذا بتعديل سعر الدولار الجمركي على عدّة مراحل بحيث تمّ رفعه في مرحلة أولى من 1،507.5 ل.ل. مقابل الدولار الأميركي الواحد إلى 15،000 ل.ل. للدولار في شهر كانون الأوّل 2022، ليعود ويصبح 45،000 ل.ل. للدولار في شهر آذار 2023 ومن ثمّ رفعه إلى 60،000 ل.ل. للدولار في شهر نيسان. وقد تمّ ربط سعر الدولار الجمركي بسعر منصّة صيرفة في مرحلة لاحقة حيث أصبح في شهر أيّار 2023 86،300 ل.ل. للدولار الأميركي الواحد قبل أن يستقرّ عند 89،500 ل.ل. للدولار فيما بعد بدءاً من شهر 18 كانون الأول 2023.
