Real estate activity dropped on a monthly basis in November 2025, whether in terms of number (down by 14.25% to 5,896) or value (down by 19.06% to LBP 45.08 trillion) of transactions. The average value per transaction decreased by 5.61% month-on-month to LBP 7.65 billion ($85.43K at the LBP 89,500 per USD exchange rate), from LBP 8.10 billion ($90.51K) a month earlier. It is worth noting that the bulk of the work of real estate registries nowadays, and especially for those that remained most on strike (Mount Lebanon for example), is geared towards the processing of backlogged real estate transactions. As such, the figures displayed in the below section do not reflect the real momentum of the real estate sector during the concerned period when compared to the corresponding period in the previous year. On an annual basis, the number of real estate transactions rose by 101.07% during the first eleven months of the current year to 64,455 compared to 32,056 in the same period last year with the value of transactions increasing by 121.11% to LBP 494.86 trillion (around $5.53 billion). Foreigners’ share of real estate sale transactions dropped to 2.14% by the month of November 2025 from 2.36% in the full year 2024 yet stood higher than the 1.87% reading reported in the year 2023 as shown below:
