Banque Libanaise pour le Commerce (BLC) has recently announced that a trade operation occurred on the BSE on December 15 involving the transfer of 17.1 million of its treasury shares to Fransabank for a consideration of $15.90 million. It is worth noting that the transaction was conducted at a price of $0.93 per share, being the quoted price in local dollars on the BSE on that day, and involved 8% of the BLC’s outstanding shares. Subsequently, Fransabank will now own 96.14% of BLC, up from 88.14% previously.
أعلن البنك اللبناني للتجارة (BLC) مؤخّراً عن عمليّة تداول تمّت عبر بورصة بيروت بتاريخ 15 كانون الأول، شملت بيع 17.1 مليون سهم من أسهم الخزينة (Treasury Shares) المملوكة منه إلى فرنسبنك، مقابل 15.90 مليون د.أ. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ الصفقة تمّت بسعر 0.93 د.أ. للسهم الواحد، وهو السعر المُدرج على البورصة في ذلك اليوم، وشملت 8% من إجمالي أسهم البنك اللبناني للتجارة. وبذلك، تصبح ملكيّة فرنسبنك 96.14% من أسهم البنك اللبناني للتجارة، بعد أن كانت حصته السابقة 88.14%.
