The Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) allocated $35.1 million aid to Lebanon in 2025 to help address the country’s ongoing humanitarian crisis. The project targeted around 755 thousand individuals, bearing in mind that the LHF has targeted 2.16K migrants and Palestinian refugees, 303.48K refugees, and 449.42K host communities. In the same vein, circa 31% of targeted individuals were women (231.89K), 29% were men (218.45K), 20% were girls (153.08K) and 20% were boys (151.63K). According to the LHF, the $35.1 million aid was divided into three tranches: the first was provided by national NGOs for a total amount of $15.3 million and targeted 35 projects, the second was provided by international NGOs for an amount of $19.7 million and targeted 32 projects, and the third was provided by UN agencies for an amount of $0.15 million and targeted 1 project. The LHF noted that out of the total allocated amount of $35.1 million, some $26.7 million was disbursed. The share of the United Kingdom of total pain contributions in 2025 stood at $5.50 million, followed by Belgium ($3.50 million), Canada ($3.20 million), Australia ($3.10 million), and Ireland ($2.70 million), among others. Furthermore, the funding was geared towards a variety of sectors namely food security ($10.7 million), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH; $8.7 million), health ($7.3 million), and basic assistance ($2.1 million), only to name a few.
