The United Arab Emirates (UAE) lifted on June 29, 2026 the ban on international travels to Lebanon. Prime Minister Mr. Nawaf Salam noted that the decision to lift the travel ban reflects the strength of the relations and historical ties between Lebanon and the UAE and represents a clear sign of renewed confidence in Lebanon. In addition, the Lebanese Foreign Minister Mr. Joe Rajji welcomed the announcement by the UAE and stated that as the Lebanese state continues strengthening its presence, stays on the stability & reform path, and consolidates its sovereignty, ally nations are re-establishing ties with Lebanon in complete confidence.
