Lebanese Republic Eurobonds erased gains recorded earlier in late September, with prices retreating to the 26–27 cents to the dollar range by the end of this week. Liquidity was extremely constrained, with a very limited demand from international investors. Most participants were on the sell side amid an absence of fresh positive catalysts and continued uncertainty surrounding the government’s progress in advancing a credible solution to the country’s debt and reform challenges.
