Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) rebounded this week, with the number of shares changing hands increasing to 473,562, from 193,507 shares last week. Value traded was no exception, rallying to $3.36 million, from $1.65 million a week before. Trades were mainly concentrated in real estate sector stocks, which accounted for 73.94% of weekly traded volume.
The average daily traded volume improved to 94,712 shares this week, from 38,701 shares in the previous week. In addition, the average daily traded value increased to $0.67 million, from around $0.33 million a week earlier.
Four heavily weighed losing and three gaining stocks were screened throughout the week, dragging the BSE’s market capitalization down by 11.93% week-on-week to $6.13 billion and the Credit Libanais Aggregate Stock Index (“CLASI”) sizeably lower by 14.74% to an all-time low of 548.07.
In the real estate sector, trades consisted solely of Solidere “A” and “B” shares (73.94% of weekly traded volume), with the price of Solidere “A” dropping by 0.24% on a weekly basis to $8.49 whilst that of Solidere “B” improving by 1.18% to $8.60. Consequently, the Credit Libanais Construction Sector Stock Index (“CLCI”) ended its week 0.28% higher at 466.60.
In the banking sector, Bank Audi listed shares amassed the highest concentration of trades (15.40% of total BSE traded volume) on a thin turnover ratio of 0.02%. The Credit Libanais Financial Sector Stock Index (“CLFI”) ended Friday’s session down by 21.02% on a weekly basis to an all-time low of 592.46 as a result of the 55.71% tumble in the price of BLOM Bank listed shares to $3.10, the 6.67% contraction in the price of BLOM Bank GDRs to $2.80, the 2.93% decrease in the price of Bank Audi Listed shares to $1.99, which outweighed the 16.02% and 4.35% increase in the prices of the Audi GDR and Bemo Bank listed shares to $2.39 and $1.20 respectively.
The market-cap weighted average price to book value (P/BV) multiple of listed stocks ended its week sizably lower at 0.554 based on the closing prices of Friday’s session.
تحسّنت حركة التداول على بورصة بيروت هذا الأسبوع، بحيث إرتفع عدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة إلى 473،562 سهم، مقابل 193،507 سهم في الأسبوع الفائت. كذلك تحسّنت القيمة التداوليّة للأسهم لتصل إلى 3.36 مليون د.أ.، مقارنةً ب1.65 مليون د.أ. في الأسبوع المنصرم. وقد سَيطَرَت أسهُم القطاع العقاري على 73.94% من مجموع عدد الأسهم المتداولة.
بالتوازي، تطوّر المتوسِّط اليومي لعدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة إلى 94،712 سهم هذا الأسبوع، من 38،701 سهم في الأسبوع الذي سبقه، كما إزداد متوسّط القيمة التداوليّة اليوميّة للأسهم إلى 0.67 مليون د.أ.، مقارنةً بحوالي 0.33 مليون د.أ. في الأسبوع الماضي.
في سياقٍ متّصل، تراجعت الرسملة السوقيّة (Market Capitalization) لبورصة بيروت بنسبة 11.93% أسبوعيّاً إلى 6.13 مليار د.أ.، وذلك في ظلّ تدنّي سعر أربعة أسهم وإرتفاع أسعار ثلاثة أسهم أخرى. في هذا السياق، أنهى مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني للبورصة (“CLASI”) أسبوعه على إنخفاض كبير بنسبة 14.74% ليصل إلى 548.07 وهو أدنى مستوى تاريخي له.
في القطاع العقاري، إقتصرت عمليّات التداول على أسهُم سوليدير "أ" و"ب" (73.94% من مجموع عدد الأسهُم المتداوَلة)، مع تراجع سعر سهم سوليدير "أ" بنسبة 0.24% على صعيدٍ أسبوعيٍّ إلى 8.49 د.أ. وتحسّن سعر سهم سوليدير "ب" بنسبة 1.18% إلى 8.60 د.أ. في هذا الإطار، سجّل مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني لأداء القطاع العقاري في البورصة (“CLCI”) إرتفاع أسبوعي بنسبة 0.28% إلى 466.60.
أمّا في القطاع المصرفي، فقد إستحوذت الأسهم العاديّة لبنك عودة على الحصّة الأكبر (15.40%) من مجموع الأسهُم المتداوَلة خلال الأسبوع. من جهته، تدهور مؤشِّر بنك الإعتماد اللبناني لأداء القطاع المالي في البورصة (“CLFI”) بنسبة 21.02% هذا الأسبوع إلى أدنى مستوى تاريخي له عند 592.46، وذلك نتيجة تراجع سعر شهادات الإيداع والأسهم العاديّة التابعة لبنك لبنان والمهجر بنسبة 55.71% و6.67% إلى 3.10 د.أ. و2.80 د.أ. بالتتالي إضافة إلى إنخفاض سعر الأسهم العاديّة التابعة لبنك عودة بنسبة 2.93% إلى 1.99 د.أ.، ما طغى على إرتفاع سعر شهادات الإيداع التابعة لبنك عودة بنسبة 16.02% إلى 2.39 د.أ. وتحسّن سعر الأسهم العادية التابعة لبنك بيمو بنسبة 4.35% إلى 1.20 د.أ.
أنهى المتوسّط المثقَّل للسعر على القيمة الدفتريّة (P/BV) للأسهُم المدرَجة على بورصة بيروت أسبوعه على تراجع ملحوظ عند مستوى 0.554، بحسب أسعار إقفال نهار الجمعة.
