According to a press release issued by Bank Audi on October 9, 2020, the Bank has applied for the delisting and cancellation of trading of its GDRs from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) effective as of November 6, 2020. Said decision came in light of the thin trading volumes compared to the costs and administrative burden of maintaining the listing on the LSE. The Bank stated that the GDRs will continue to be listed and traded on the Beirut Stock Exchange and added that after being delisted from the LSE, all GDRs will remain outstanding, noting that each GDR represents 1 common share.
