According to announcements circulated by Bank Audi S.A.L. through the Beirut Stock Exchange on January 5, 2021, the bank has merged its business operations with Audi Private Bank (APB) and Audi Investment Bank (AIB), in addition to the transfer of all assets, liabilities rights & commitments from APB and AIB to Bank Audi. Said mergers were finalized on December 9, 2020 after obtaining the final approval of BDL. According to the announcements, the mergers will provide business continuity to all customers. Furthermore, the announcements noted that the mergers aim to improve the future competitive positioning of Bank Audi through elimination of redundant functions and reduction of operating expenses.
