The September 16 Treasury bill auction raised LBP 269.515 billion ($178.783 million), compared to LBP 351.828 billion ($233.385 million) during the auction of the previous week.

The majority of subscriptions was concentrated in the five-year (96.29%) to maturity T-bonds, followed by the one-year (2.60%) and three-month (1.11%) tenure Treasury securities.

Consequently, the weighted average yield on Lebanese Pound Treasury bills stood at 5.93% in the auction of September 16. The yields on the three-month, one-year, and five-year to maturity Treasury securities remained flat at 3.50%, 4.50% and 6.00% respectively.
