The Lebanese Central Bank issued on July 27, 2022 intermediate decision 13465 under intermediate circular 637, which amends basic decisions no. 7462 and 7740 and directed to banks and auditors. In details, the circular states that any sale of real estate property by banks, whether property directly owned by the bank or property temporarily owned in settlement of debt, be conducted in fresh dollars or their counter-value in LBP based on the prevailing “Sayrafa” rate one day before the transaction.
أصدر مصرف لبنان بتاريخ 27 تمّوز 2022 القرار الوسيط رقم 13465 تحت التعميم الوسيط رقم 637 والذي عدّل القرارين الأساسيين رقم 7462 و7740 والموجّه للمصارف ومفوّضي الرقابة. بالتفاصيل، ينصّ التعميم على إنّ أي عمليّة بيع للعقارات من قبل المصارف (أكانت عقارات مملوكة بشكل مباشر أو عقارات مملوكة مؤقتاً إستيفاءاً لدين) يجب أن تتم بالدولار الفريش أو بالليرة اللبنانيّة بحسب سعر الصرف السائد على منصّة صيرفة في اليوم الذي يسبق عمليّة البيع.
