According to figures released by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, the number of tourists arriving to Lebanon rose to 267,702 during the month of July 2023, up from 209,796 arrivals in June and 238,506 in July of the previous year. On a cumulative basis, Lebanon’s tourism season was more vibrant and promising during the first seven months of 2023 when compared to the same period in 2022. More specifically, the number of tourists arriving to the country increased by 25.91% y-o-y to 1,018,892 YTD July 2023, compared to 809,244 tourists through July 2022. European visitors topped the list of tourists arriving to Lebanon, accounting alone for 41.61% (423,989 visitors) of total tourist arrivals, followed by Arab (253,107 arrivals <24.84%>), American (216,955 arrivals <21.29%>), and Asian (48,909 arrivals <4.80%>) visitors.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات وزارة السياحة اللبنانيّة، إرتفع عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى لبنان إلى 267،702 سائح خلال شهر تمّوز 2023، مقارنةً مع 209،796 سائح في الشهر الذي سبقه و238،506 سائح في الشهر السابع من العام 2022. على صعيدٍ تراكميّ، بدى الموسم السياحي في لبنان أكثر حيويّة وديناميكيّة خلال الأشهر السبعة الأولى من العام مقارنةً بالفترة نفسها من العام السابق. بالتفاصيل، زاد عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى البلاد بنسبة 25.91% سنويّاً إلى 1،018،892 سائح حتّى شهر تمّوز، مقابِل 809،244 سائح في الفترة نفسها من العام 2022. وقد تَصدَّر السيّاح الأوروبيّون لائحة القادمين إلى لبنان، مشكِّلين ما نسبته 41.61% (423،989 سائح) من مجموع الوافدين خلال الفترة المذكورة، تلاهم الوافدون العرب (253،107 سائح <24.84%>)، والزائرون من القارّة الأميركيّة (216،955 سائح <21.29%<)، والسيّاح الآسيويّون (48،909 سائح <4.80%<).
