The Minister of Health at the caretaker government Dr. Firas Abiad revealed recently that the ministry received 32 tons of aid from the World Health Organization (WHO). Dr. Abiad added that the aid package mainly comprises medical equipment and drugs dedicated to treat war-related injuries, in line of the ministry’s efforts to ramp up the health sector’s readiness to face any further escalation of the current hostilities. Finally, Dr. Abiad uncovered that Lebanon would be very soon receiving another aid package.
