The Central Council at the Lebanese Central Bank resolved during a meeting held on October 9 to expand the scope of circular 166 eligibility to include all those depositors who have converted deposits from the Lebanese Pound to the U.S. Dollar after October 30, 2019 according to an announcement circulated by BDL. It is worth noting that BDL circular 166 allows eligible depositors to benefit from a monthly withdrawal of $150 in fresh amount from their account.
