The Lebanese Minister of Industry Mr. Joe Issa Al-Khoury recently announced the creation of a new category "Category Zero” in a move aimed at supporting small and emerging industrial companies that are unable to comply with the stringent requirements of traditional industrial categories. In details, this category aims to spare emerging industries the hassle of adhering to the administrative and technical requirements imposed on larger categories, giving them the opportunity to grow and export without crippling restrictions.
