The Lebanese President Mr. Joseph Aoun discussed on June 3, 2025 during the “Smart Government: Diaspora Expertise for Lebanon” conference held at the Phoenicia Hotel the need to implement digital progress in Lebanon. More specifically, the President noted that the “smart” government continues to be delayed in Lebanon yet declared that the country will no longer remain on the sideline of progress. The President added that the goal of a “smart” government would be to serve Lebanese citizens with better efficiency, speed, and transparency while stressing on the importance of regional and international partnerships to improve the country’s capabilities.
