The Lebanese Central Bank issued on September 10, 2025 intermediate decision number 13750 under intermediate circular 743 which amended basic decision number 9668 under basic circular 109. Article 1 of basic circular 109 was amended by intermediate circular 743 under the provisions of which the Lebanese Central Bank prohibited the imposition of any kind of restrictions or commissions on the underlying amounts of LBP transactions on debit, credit, or charge cards issued locally and used locally by individuals at Points of Sales highlighting that these amounts can be withdrawn in cash.
