According to a statement issued by Holcim Liban, Holcibel, a Belgian firm that is a fully owned subsidiary of Holcim Group, has recently entered into a conditional agreement to sell the entirety of its 52.1% stake in Holcim Liban to B.Z.L. Cement Holding and North Pine (Holding) both of which are incorporated in Lebanon. B.Z.L. Cement is owned by Mr. Mohamed Zeidan (several activities in trade and real estate) while North Pine is owned by Mr. Gilbert Sassine (active in real estate). As per the statement, Holcibel owns 10.2 million common shares in Holcim Liban having a market capitalization of $736.7 million (local dollars) based on the closing price of October 7, 2025. The announcement revealed that the registration of the transaction on the BSE (including the transfer of shares) is contingent upon the satisfaction of some conditions stipulated in the agreement. It is worth mentioning that Holcim Liban was established in 1929 and produces grey and white cement.
وفقاً لإعلام صادر عن شركة هولسيم لبنان، قامت مؤخّراً شركة هولسيبيل البلجيكيّة، وهي شركة مملوكة بالكامل من مجموعة هولسيم بالدخول في إتّفاق مشروط لبيع حصّتها البالغة 52.1% في شركة هولسيم لبنان إلى ب.ز.ل سمنت هولدينغ ونورث باين (هولدينغ)، مع العلم أنّ الشركتين مسجّلتين في لبنان. إنّ شركة ب.ز.ل سمنت هولدينغ مملوكة من السيّد محمّد زيدان (في مجاليّ التجارة والعقارات) في حين أنّ شركة نورث باين (هولدينغ) مملوكة من السيّد جيلبير ساسين (في مجال العقارات). وبحسب الإعلام، فإنّ حصّة شركة هولسيبيل تتوزّع على 10.2 مليون سهم عاديّ في رأسمال شركة هولسيم لبنان ذات رسملة سوقيّة تقدّر ب736.7 مليون د.أ. (دولار محلّي) بحسب سعر الإقفال على بورصة بيروت بتاريخ 7 تشرين الأوّل. وبحسب الإعلام، فإنّ تسجيل الصفقة على بورصة بيروت (والتي تشمل تحويل الأسهم) لا يزال مشروطاً بتحقيق عدد من الشروط المنصوص عليها في عقد التفرّغ عن الأسهم. يجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ شركة هولسيم لبنان تأسّست خلال العام 1929 وهي تنتج الإسمنت الرمادي والأبيض.
