Beirut Port freight activity ebbed slightly during the month of October 2025 with the total weight of shipped goods dropping to around 557.2 thousand tons compared to 560.6 thousand tons a month earlier (0.61% decrease). On a cumulative basis, however, freight activity rose by a robust 15.98% y-o-y during the first ten months of 2025 to 5,329 thousand tons up from 4,595 thousand tons a year earlier. The number of vessels, however, dropped by 5.84% year-on-year to 1,178 in comparison with 1,251 in the same period in 2024, while the number of imported cars increased by 56.66% to 58,407 cars. In a related context, the Beirut port handled containers with a total cargo capacity of around 756.46 thousand TEUs (including transshipments) in comparison with a smaller cargo capacity of 640.84 thousand TEUs a year earlier.
تراجعت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ بيروت خلال الشهر العاشر من العام 2025 حيث إنخفض الوزن الإجمالي للبضائع إلى 557.2 ألف طن في شهر تشرين الأول مقابل حوالي 560.6 ألف طن في شهر أيلول (إنكماش شهريّ نسبته 0.61%). أمّا على صعيد تراكمي، فقد إرتفعت حركة الشحن بنسبة 15.98% سنويّاً إلى 5،329 ألف طن خلال الأشهر العشرة الأولى من العام 2025 مقارنةً مع 4،595 ألف طن خلال الفترة ذاتها من العام 2024. من جهةٍ أخرى، إنخفض عدد البواخر بنسبة 5.84% على أساسٍ سنويٍّ إلى 1،178 باخرة حتّى شهر تشرين الأول 2025 مقارنةً مع 1،251 باخرة خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2024 فيما زاد عدد السيّارات المستوردة بنسبة 56.66% إلى حوالي 58،407 سيارة. وقد إستقبل مرفأ بيروت حاويات ذات قدرة إستيعاب بلغت حوالي 756.46 ألف وحدة مكافئة لعشرين قدم (TEU) خلال الأشهر العشرة الأولى من العام 2025 مقارنةً مع 640.84 ألف وحدة مكافئة لعشرين قدم (TEU) خلال الفترة ذاتها من العام 2024.
