Lebanese Eurobonds market activity was relatively calm at the start of the week, buoyed by the visit of the Pope to the country, which fostered positive market sentiment. Sovereign prices strengthened during the week, supported by encouraging political developments, notably talks related to the monitoring of the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, with initial reports suggesting promising progress. These factors helped Lebanese Eurobonds prices to reach 22.875 - 23.50 cents to the dollar on Friday.
إتسّم نشاط سوق سندات اليوروبوند اللبنانية بالهدوء النسبي في بداية الأسبوع تزامناً مع زيارة الحبر الأعظم إلى البلاد والتي عزّزت معنويات السوق. وقد إرتفعت أسعار السندات السياديّة خلال الأسبوع مدعومةً بتطوّرات سياسيّة مشجّعة، لا سيّما المحادثات المتعلّقة بمراقبة إتّفاق وقف إطلاق النار في جنوب لبنان، حيث أشارت التقارير الأوليّة إلى تقدم واعد. وقد إنعكست هذه العوامل إيجاباً على سعر سندات اليوروبوند اللبنانية التي إرتفعت إلى ما بين 22.875 و23.50 سنتاً للدولار يوم الجمعة.
