Agility, a global logistics company with extensive expertise in emerging markets, in collaboration with the logistics research firm Transport Intelligence, released its “Agility Emerging Markets Logistics Index 2026” report in which it offers a quick insight, ranking, and evaluation of 50 emerging markets. The index is calculated based on 4 equally weighted metrics highlighted in the following section:
- Domestic Logistics: assesses the size and growth of domestic logistics markets, the economy and of the population, income equality, urbanization and development of business clusters.
- International Logistics: assesses the size and growth of international logistics markets and of logistics intensive trade, infrastructure quality and connectedness.
- Business Fundamentals: assesses the regulatory environment, credit and debt dynamics, contract enforcement and anti-corruption frameworks, inflation and price stability, cost of crime & violence and market accessibility and domestic stability.
- Digital Readiness: measures the potential and progress of an emerging market in becoming a digitally-led, skills rich, innovation oriented and sustainable economy in the future.
China topped the list of countries covered in the Logistics Index for yet another consecutive year with a score of 8.44, followed by India (score: 6.99), the United Arab Emirates (score: 6.40), Saudi Arabia (score: 6.25), and Malaysia (score: 6.03), only to name a few. The report commented that the index saw a very high volatility this year with several countries recording changes in their overall position on the back of a myriad of economic, trade, geopolitics, and infrastructure factors.
Regionally, the Middle East and North Africa region’s performance in the index remained robust as 3 countries ranked among the top ten emerging economies in terms of logistics with Qatar completing the list, ranking 7th in the world with a score of 5.81.
On the local front, Lebanon came in 44th among the 50 covered nations in the 2026 Emerging Markets Logistics Index with a score of 4.30, in comparison with a score of 4.37 in 2025. In fact, Lebanon’s worst performance was in the Business Fundamentals sub-index (score: 3.85; rank: 41), yet fared best in the Domestic Logistics Opportunities sub-index (score: 4.58; rank: 38) followed by the Digital Readiness (score: 4.38; rank: 38), and International Logistics (score: 4.15; rank: 50) sub-indices.
أصدرت شركة أجيليتي (Agility)، وهي شركة لوجستيّة عالميّة ذات خبرةٍ واسعة في الأسواق الناشئة، بالتعاون مع شركة الأبحاث اللّوجستيّة ترانسبورت إنتليجنس (Transport Intelligence)، تقريرها حول مؤشّر أجيليتي للّوجيستيّة في الأسواق الناشئة للعام 2026، تعطي من خلاله لمحةً، وتصنيفاً، وتقييماً ل50 سوقٍ ناشىء (Emerging market). يرتكز المؤشّر على أربعة مؤشّرات ثانويّة ذات تثقيل متوازٍ، ألا وهي:
- اللوجستيّات المحليّة: يقيّم حجم ونموّ أسواق اللوجستيّات المحليّة والإقتصاد والسكّان، وتكافؤ الدخل والتمدّن وتطوّر مجموعات التجارة.
- اللوجستيّات الدوليّة: يقيس حجم ونموّ أسواق اللوجستيّات الدوليّة والتجارة التي تعتمد بشكل كبير على اللوجستيّات، ونوعيّة البنى التحتيّة وترابط السوق.
- أسس التجارة: يقيّم الإطار التشريعي، ديناميّات التسليف والدين، تطبيق العقود وآليات مكافحة الفساد، إستقرار التضخّم والأسعار، كلفة الجريمة والعنف وولوج السوق وإستقرار الأسواق.
- الإستعداد الرقمي: يقيس إمكانيّة وتطوّر سوق ناشىء لكي يصبح سوق رقمي رائد، غني بالمهارات، وموجّه نحو الإبتكار وإستدامة إقتصاده في المستقبل.
وقد تصدّرت الصين قائمة الدول المشمولة في مؤشّر اللوجستيّة لعامٍ آخر على التوالي، محقِّقةً نتيجة 8.44، تبعتها الهند (النتيجة: 6.99)، والإمارات العربيّة المتّحدة (النتيجة: 6.40)، والمملكة العربيّة السعوديّة (النتيجة: 6.25)، وماليزيا (النتيجة: 6.03)، للذكر لا للحصر. وعلّق التقرير بأن المؤشر قد شهد تقلّبات كثيفة هذا العام حيث أنّ عدّة دول قد شهدت تغييراً في تصنيفها الإجمالي على خلفيّة مجموعة من العوامل الإقتصاديّة والتجاريّة والجيوسياسيّة وتلك المتعلّقة بالبنى التحتيّة.
على صعيد إقليميٍّ، حافظت منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا على أدائها الجيّد بحيث حصدت 3 دول مراكز ضمن المراتب العشرة الأولى لجهة اللوجستيّة في الإقتصادات الناشئة مع بروز دولة قطر على اللائحة محتلّةً المرتبة السابعة في العالم بنتيجة 5.81.
محليّاً، حلّ لبنان في المرتبة 44 من أصل 50 دولة في العالم في مؤشّر أجيليتي للّوجيستيّة في الأسواق الناشئة للعام 2026 محقّقاً نتيجة 4.30، مقارنةً بنتيجة 4.37 في العام 2025. في التفاصيل، سجّل لبنان أداءه الأسوأ في المؤشّر المتعلّق بأسس التجارة (النتيجة: 3.85؛ المرتبة: 41)، في حين كان أداؤه الأفضل في مؤشّر اللوجيستيّات المحليّة (النتيجة: 4.58؛ المرتبة: 38) متبوعاً بمؤشّر الإستعداد الرقمي (النتيجة: 4.38؛ المرتبة: 38) ومؤشّر اللوجستيّات الدوليّة (النتيجة: 4.15؛ المرتبة: 50).
