Cement deliveries, the coincident indicator of construction activity, rose by 12.51% during the month of February 2026 to 184,641 tons, up from 164,104 tons a month earlier. However, and on an annual basis, cement deliveries decreased by 16.57% to 348,745 tons as at the end of the first two months of 2026, in comparison with 418,028 tons in the same period in 2025.
Cement deliveries registered a negative compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.63% over the February 2019 – February 2026 period, mirroring the lackluster activity of Lebanon’s construction sector amidst the pale economic situation.
سَجَّلَت تسليمات الإسمنت، والتي تشكِّل مؤشِّراً رئيسيّاً للنشاط العقاري، إرتفاعاً بنسبة 12.51% خلال شهر شباط من العام 2026 إلى 184،641 طن، مقابِل 164،104 طن في الشهر الذي سبقه. أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكمي، فقد إنخفضت تسليمات الإسمنت بنسبة 16.57% سنويّاً لتصل إلى 348،745 طن مع نهاية الشهرين الأوّلين من العام 2026 مقارنةً ب418،028 طن خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2025.
يُظهِر البيان التالي أنّ نسبة النموّ السنوي المركَّب (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) لتسليمات الإسمنت كانت سلبيّةً عند 2.63% خلال الفترة الممتدّة بين شهريّ شباط 2019 وشباط 2026، ما يَعكس ضعفاً في ديناميكيّة قطاع البناء في ظلّ الركود الإقتصادي الذي تشهده البلاد.
