According to the statistics published by the Automobile Importers Association (AIA), the number of newly registered cars stood at 728 cars in April 2026 (its lowest reading since April 2025 on the back of the repercussions of the war) compared to 958 cars in March and 1,141 cars in February. The monthly evolution in the number of new car registrations over the past 12 months depicts a rollercoaster trend as illustrated in the chart below:
On a cumulative basis, new car registrations posted an annual increase of 36.47% to 3,993 cars YTD April 2026 compared to 2,926 cars in the same period in 2025, buoyed by an improvement in the political and security environment prior to the recent escalation of the conflict locally and in the region coupled with the implementation of some reforms at the Traffic and Management Authority (TMO) level. These figures, however, are still dwarfed by the 8,102 level registered over the same period in 2019.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات جمعيّة مستوردي السيّارات، وصل عدد السيّارات الجديدة المسجّلة في لبنان إلى 728 سيّارة في شهر نيسان 2026 (أدنى مستوى له منذ شهر نيسان 2025 نتيجة تداعيات الحرب الدائرة) مقارنةً مع 958 سيّارة في شهر آذار و1،141 سيّارة في شهر شباط للذكر لا الحصر. يبيّن التطوّر الشهري في حركة تسجيل السيّارات خلال الفترة الممتدّة بين نيسان 2025 ونيسان 2026 تقلّبات كبيرة كما هو مبيّن في البيان التالي:
على صعيد تراكمي، زاد عدد السيّارات الجديدة المسجّلة بنسبة سنويّة بلغت 36.47% إلى 3،993 سيّارة حتّى شهر نيسان من العام 2026 مقارنةً ب2،926 سيّارة في الفترة عينها من العام 2025 وذلك نتيجة التحسّن في المشهدين السياسي والأمني (قبل إندلاع الحرب الأخيرة في لبنان وفي المنطقة) كما وتطبيق بعض الإصلاحات في مصلحة تسجيل السيّارات. إلّا إنّ هذه الأرقام تبقى خجولة مقارنةً بمستوى ال8،102 سيّارة جديدة المسجّلة خلال الأشهر الأربعة الأولى من العام 2019.
