The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Nizar Hani, recently signed an agreement with the Chinese ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Chen Chuandong pertaining to the donation of agricultural drones to support forest protection efforts in Lebanon. The drones will be used for pesticide spraying and monitoring operations aimed at combating pests and diseases affecting forests, particularly pine trees. The initiative underscores ongoing agricultural cooperation between Lebanon and China and supports the adoption of modern technologies in environmental conservation and agricultural development.
وقّع وزير الزراعة الدكتور نزار هاني مؤخّراً على إتفاقيّة تعاون مع السفير الصيني في لبنان السيّد تشين تشوان دونغ لتقديم طائرات بدون طيّار زراعيّة لدعم جهود حماية الغابات في لبنان. وسيتمّ إستخدام هذه الطائرات في عمليّات رشّ المبيدات وعمليّات المراقبة بهدف مكافحة الآفات والأمراض التي تصيب الغابات، لا سيّما أشجار الصنوبر. وتؤكّد هذه المبادرة إستمرار التعاون الزراعي بين لبنان والصين كما وتدعم إعتماد التقنيّات الحديثة في مجال الحفاظ على البيئة والتنمية الزراعيّة.
