According to a press release issued by Byblos Bank on August 4, 2020, the Bank has officially delisted and cancelled the trading of its GDRs from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) on July 30, 2020. Said decision came in light of the thin trading volumes compared to the costs and administrative burden of maintaining the listing on the LSE. The Bank stated that the GDRs will continue to be listed and traded on the Beirut Stock Exchange and will remain outstanding, noting that each GDR represents 50 common shares.
بحسب بيان صحفي صادر عن بنك بيبلوس بتاريخ 4 آب 2020، فقد تمّ إلغاء إدراج وتوقيف التداول بشهادات الإيداع المصدّرة من قبل بنك بيبلوس على بورصة لندن بتاريخ 30 تمّوز 2020 بسبب حجم التداول الصغير مقارنةً بالتكاليف التيّ يتكبّدها في هذا الخصوص. كما وذكر البيان أنّ شهادات الإيداع التابعة لبنك بيبلوس سوف تبقى مدرجة على بورصة بيروت وسيظلّ مسموح التداول بها، علماً أنّ كلّ شهادة إيداع تمثّل 50 سهم عاديّ.
