According to figures released by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, the number of tourists arriving to Lebanon fell to 102,690 during the month of October 2023, down from 175,418 arrivals in September and 210,458 in August. On a cumulative basis, however, Lebanon’s tourism season was more vibrant and promising during the first ten months of 2023 when compared to the same period in 2022. More specifically, the number of tourists arriving to the country increased by 21.15% y-o-y to 1,507,458 YTD October 2023, compared to 1,244,329 tourists during the same period in 2022. European visitors topped the list of tourists arriving to Lebanon, accounting alone for 41.31% (622,763 visitors) of total tourist arrivals, followed by Arab (381,334 arrivals <25.30%>), American (311,900 arrivals <20.69%>), and Asian (70,698 arrivals <4.69%>) visitors.
إستناداً إلى إحصاءات وزارة السياحة اللبنانيّة، إنخفض عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى لبنان إلى 102،690 سائح خلال شهر تشرين الأوّل 2023، مقارنةً مع 175،418 سائح في شهر أيلول و210،458 سائح في شهر آب. أمّا على صعيدٍ تراكميّ، فقد بدى الموسم السياحي في لبنان أكثر حيويّة وديناميكيّة خلال الأشهر العشرة الأولى من العام مقارنةً بالفترة نفسها من العام السابق حيث زاد عدد السيّاح الوافدين إلى البلاد بنسبة 21.15% سنويّاً إلى 1،507،458 سائح حتّى شهر تشرين الأوّل، مقابِل 1،244،329 سائح في الفترة نفسها من العام 2022. وقد تَصدَّر السيّاح الأوروبيّون لائحة القادمين إلى لبنان، مشكِّلين ما نسبته 41.31% (622،763 سائح) من مجموع الوافدين خلال الفترة المذكورة، تلاهم الوافدون العرب (381،334 سائح <25.30%>)، والزائرون من القارّة الأميركيّة (311،900 سائح <20.69%<)، والسيّاح الآسيويّون (70،698 سائح <4.69%<).
