The number of arriving passengers via the Beirut International Airport stood at 420,402 in February 2025, down by 8.28% month-on-month and by 1.44% y-o-y by the end of the first two months of 2025. More specifically, the number of arriving travelers increased by 1.94% m-o-m and by 9.31% on an annual basis YTD February to 443,624, while the number of departing travelers decreased by 7.05% m-o-m and by 10.90% annually up until February 2025 to 407,832 and the number of transit travelers dropped by 60.94% m-o-m and by 79.40% over the same period in 2024 to 89 YTD February 2025. Concurrently, the number of flights saw a monthly decrease of 5.26% and an annual drop of 7.87% during the first two months of 2025 to 6,658. It is worth highlighting in this context that the share of Middle East Airlines (MEA) rose from 37.36% of the total number of flights YTD February 2024 to 54.27% in the same period in 2025. إنخفض عدد الوافدين إلى لبنان عبر مطار بيروت دولي بنسبة شهريّة بلغت 8.28% في شباط 2025 كما وسجّل إنكماش سنويّ نسبته 1.44% في الشهرين الأوّلين من العام الحالي إلى 851،545 راكب. في التفاصيل، إرتفع عدد الوافدين إلى لبنان بنسبة 1.94% على أساس شهريّ و9.31% على أساسٍ سنويٍّ إلى 443،624 مسافر حتّى شهر شباط الحالي. من جهّة أخرى، تراجع عدد المغادرين بنسبة 7.05% على صعيد شهريّ وبنسبة 10.90% سنويّاً إلى 407،832 مسافر لغاية شهر شباط. كذلك، إنخفض عدد العابرين عير مطار بيروت (ترانزيت) بنسبة 60.94% على صعيد شهريّ وبنسبة 79.40% على أساس سنويّ إلى 89 مسافر حتّى شهر شباط 2025. وقد سجّل عدد الرحلات الجويّة تراجع شهريّ بلغت نسبته 5.26% في شباط كما وإنخفاض سنويّ نسبته 7.87% لغاية شهر شباط إلى 6،658. يجدر الذكر أنّ حصّة طيران الشرق الأوسط من إجمالي عدد الرحلات قد زادت من 37.36% في الشهرين الأوّلين من العام 2024 إلى 54.27% في الفترة نفسها من العام 2025 كما هو مبيّن أدناه:
