Lebanon’s new government won a confidence vote in the parliament with a majority of 95 lawmakers in the 128-seat chamber. The ministerial statement pledged to advance economic reforms, reengage negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and tackle the public debt issue. In addition, the ministerial statement vowed working on removing Lebanon from the grey list, prioritizing depositors and resuming oil and gas exploration.
